There are four basic steps to logging in:
1. enter your 10-digit customer number
2. enter your full Invoice Finance Direct password (6 to 16 alphanumeric characters)
3. Click 'Submit'
4. Enter the two random characters requested from your pass-phrase (2 alphanumeric characters)
5. Click 'Continue'
Upon successful login you will automatically be transferred to the Invoice Finance Direct ‘Home page’ screen.
You can logout from anywhere within Invoice Finance Direct at any time.
From any screen, click on ‘Logout’ in the header bar at the top of your screen or the footer section at the bottom of the screen to logout from the application.
You are logged out from Invoice Finance Direct.

What should I do if I receive an email asking me to login to the service or confirm my details?
Emails like this are fraudulent as they attempt to retrieve your login information in order to access your account.
The Bank will never send you an email requesting you to login to the service or update your Invoice Finance Direct details (from a link in the originating e-mail).
If you receive an email claiming to be from the bank please contact our Helpdesk and report this activity.
What security information do I require when using Invoice Finance Direct?

Can my password be anything I choose?
Yes, the password is entirely of your choice. However, it must be between 6 and 16 characters and must contain at least one alphabetic and one numeric character. Alphabetic characters can be either upper or lower case, and must be input in the same format after selection, i.e. it is case sensitive.
What are my responsibilities with my password?
You must keep your password secret at all times and not divulge it to anyone, including the Bank’s employees. If you believe that someone else knows your password please change it immediately. Our staff will never ask for your Invoice Finance Direct password.
I have forgotten my Invoice Finance Direct Password. How do I get a new one?
If you cannot remember your password please contact the Invoice Finance Direct Helpdesk who will advise you on how to obtain a new password.

If you have entered your pass-phrase characters incorrectly several times you will now be blocked from using Invoice Finance Direct. Please contact the Invoice Finance Direct Helpdesk on who will advise you on how to continue using Invoice Finance Direct.
Can I access the service from outside the United Kingdom?
Yes – although we recommend that you do not access your Invoice Finance Direct details from computers situated in public places such as libraries or internet café's.
This is because you have no control over the software installed on a public computer or the computer's internet connection therefore you cannot guarantee that your private information will remain secure.
